Dogwood Crossing

FB-Cover-pic-3In 2011 Dogwood Crossing released their debut album ‘Fear of Change’ independently through MGM/Green and Waterfront Records. This quickly received praise both here in Australia and Overseas, with the video clip for their hit single ‘Borderline’ doing the rounds on Rage and other Australian and US music shows. Dogwood Crossing received its first Nomination as finalists in the “Music Oz” Independent Music Awards held at the Opera House in Sydney 2012.

With a relentless gig schedule and a strong following the guys decided to get cracking on a second album, and with the help of some of Australia’s most talented musicians, the outcome has been worth the wait. With growing support from Sea FM, Tripple J and a growing list of national radio stations, the band is now ready to hit the road for their much anticipated National tour, scheduled to coincide with the release of their second album ‘Hear Lies Freedom”.

This soon to be released second album ‘Hear Lies Freedom ‘is already setting the pace with the single ‘Little Birdie’ making its debut at number # 22 in the Triple J Unearthed Top 100! Within two weeks all three songs released peaked in the top 5 with “Silence” at #1, “Fight” at #2, and Little Birdie at #4. This album is a hard hitting, stand up mix of ghostly ballads and fast paced rock, with a sprinkling of dirty blues thrown in for good measure.
